The RT-3020S and RT-3020M are modular Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS receivers that deliver precision performance in a variety of applications. The RT-3020S is packaged for mobility, perfect for construction stakeouts and various types of surveys. The RT-3020M is specifically designed for machine control applications, providing 25Hz update rate as standard to allow timing synchronization with other sensors. Both models provide onboard 64MB memory, built-in SSR radios and a geodetic-quality antenna, enabling millimeter-level accuracy from post-processing.

In highly obstructed areas where RTK is essential but radio communication is unreliable, our patented RTK Extend™ option provides the solution to communication drop-outs. (Note: RTK Extend requires StarFire capable receivers)

  • Proven 4th-generation GPS engine: The RT-3020 series models use our NCT-2100D GPS Engine, using the fourth generation of our Touchstone™ ASIC family, of which more than 40,000 are in use worldwide. Incorporated are our leading-edge interference suppression, multi-path mitigation, and a geodetic-quality measurement capability.
  • Precision: A signal-to-noise ratio advantage over competing technology delivers improved real-time positioning with instantaneous centimeter-level accuracy.
  • Configurable interface: The RT-3020 receivers are easily configured using the provided Windows®-based utility program. For system integrators needing maximum flexibility, the NCT binary user interface allows complete command and control of the GPS receiver and spread spectrum radio, enabling customization of the interface and receiver operation.
  • Advanced RTK algorithm: The RTK algorithm developed by NavCom provides fast initialization, and the NCT ultra-compact binary data format for RTK ensures robust data throughput.
  • Base/Rover Flexibility (RT-3020S): This unit can be used as either a base or a rover to meet your changing needs as the survey progresses. Plus, it can utilize NCT, RTCM, CMR, and CMR+ data streams from other base stations to minimize base-rover separation. The system can be powered from portable, rechargeable batteries which provide a full day's operation. In applications such as GIS where RTK is not needed, your base station can be used as another rover, each providing superior standalone accuracy via the two additional onboard WAAS / EGNOS channels, NavCom's enhanced SBAS algorithm, and dual-frequency GPS engine.
  • Superior Machine Control (RT-3020M): Machine control dynamic environments require virtually instantaneous position reports, multiple times per second. The RT-3020M delivers all the functionality of the RT-320S plus position updates computed at up to 25Hz with less than 20ms latency. Providing position accuracy of 1cm + 1ppm horizontal and 2cm + 1ppm vertical, each output is independently calculated based on an actual GPS position measurement, as opposed to an extrapolation between 1Hz measurements.
